Acknowledgements
This work builds on the foundational relationships and learning established through the development and implementation of the Edmonton Suicide Prevention Strategy 2016-2021, its accompanying implementation plan Living Hope: A Community Plan to Prevent Suicide in Edmonton 2018-2021, and the 2016 Community Mental Health Action Plan. We are deeply grateful for the contributions of everyone involved in these initiatives, including people with lived experience, staff, partners, and community members. The discussions that arose from these efforts, along with the early support and encouragement from influential community and government leaders, provided the momentum for this strategy development process.
